Terms, privacy & cookies
Last updated 30 September 2026The short version: one clear cash price, no hidden fees, your full legal rights, and we only use your details to help you buy or sell a car. The detail is below.
01Terms of sale
Who we are
DriveSure is a trading name of Drive Sure Motors (Blackwood) Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company no. [XXXXXXXX]), VAT no. [GB XXX XXXX XX]. Our showroom is at 1 Sir Ivor’s Road, Pontllanfraith, Blackwood NP12 2JH. You can call us on 07473 411337 or email info@drivesuremotors.co.uk.
Prices
- Every price is a cash price — the full price of the car, paid in one go. We don't offer finance.
- Prices include VAT where applicable. There are no admin, preparation or documentation fees added at the desk.
- Optional extras (for example extended warranty or delivery) are always shown and agreed separately before you pay.
- We take care to describe and price every car correctly. If we make an obvious mistake, we'll tell you before the sale completes and you can choose not to go ahead.
Paying for your car
- You can pay any way you like, as long as the car is paid in full before it leaves us: bank transfer, debit card, credit card, or a mix of these.
- The car stays our property until we've received the full payment in cleared funds.
- We never ask for payment details by text or social media. If anyone does, it isn't us — call us on the number on this page.
Reserving a car
- We can hold a car for you with a deposit of [£XXX] for up to [X] days. [CONFIRM AMOUNT AND PERIOD]
- If you change your mind about a reserved car, [CONFIRM: whether the deposit is refunded, in full or in part].
- If we can't supply the car for any reason, your deposit is refunded in full.
Viewings and test drives
- You're welcome to book a viewing online or just call in during opening hours. Booking means the car will be ready for you.
- Please bring your driving licence for a test drive. [CONFIRM insurance requirements for test drives]
Collection and delivery
- You can collect the car from our showroom at no charge, or we can deliver it to your address for an additional delivery charge based on distance. The delivery charge and date are quoted and agreed with you before you pay.
- The car is handed over with its V5C logbook (or new keeper slip), service history, current MOT, keys and any warranty documents.
Selling your car to us
- Our offer is based on the details and photos you give us and is confirmed when we see the car. If its condition or history is different from what was described, we may adjust or withdraw the offer.
- We pay the full agreed amount by bank transfer once the car and its documents are checked.
- If the car is roadworthy and drives, we collect it from you free of charge. If it isn't driveable, we agree any transport arrangements and costs with you before collection.
- If there's finance on the car, we can settle it with the lender and pay you the difference, or pay you in full and you settle it yourself.
- You must be the registered keeper, or authorised to sell the car, and tell us about anything that affects its value (outstanding finance, accident damage, mileage discrepancy).
02Your rights as a buyer
When you buy from us, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says the car must be of satisfactory quality (taking into account its age, mileage and price), fit for purpose and as described. Nothing in these terms takes away those rights.
If something is wrong with the car
- Within 30 days of taking the car, you can reject it and ask for a refund if it has a fault that was there when you bought it.
- After 30 days and within 6 months, you're entitled to a repair or replacement. If that fails or isn't possible, you can ask for a refund (which may be reduced for the use you've had).
- After 6 months you still have rights, but you may need to show the fault was there when you bought the car.
- These rights don't cover normal wear and tear, faults we told you about before you bought, or damage caused after you took the car.
Buying without visiting us (distance sales)
If you buy a car entirely by phone, email or online without coming to the showroom, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from delivery to cancel for any reason. Tell us in writing, return the car in the condition you received it, and we'll refund you within 14 days of getting it back. We may deduct for any extra mileage or damage beyond what's needed to inspect the car.
Our own promises (on top of your legal rights)
- Warranty cover included with every car — see Warranty & services for the details. [CONFIRM PROVIDER AND TERMS]
- 7-day money-back guarantee: [CONFIRM TERMS — e.g. mileage limit, condition, how refunds are paid].
- Every car is HPI-checked, serviced and given a fresh MOT before sale.
